A Special Municipal Election has been scheduled in Madera County and will be held on Tuesday, November 2, 2021.
This Special Municipal Election was ordered by the Madera City Council on January 28, 2021 for the purpose of filling the vacancy in Council District Area 5. Councilmember Garcia was elected Mayor in November, 2020 resulting in a vacancy for his position as councilmember of District 5.
The term of office shall be to fill the remainder of the unexpired term, which ends in December, 2022.
